"Turn It Up: Radkey’s Loud and Proud 2026 Summer Run"

Since June 2026, Kansas City punk rock trio Radkey has been keeping busy with new music, live shows, and plenty of energy. Made up of brothers Dee, Isaiah, and Solomon Radke, the band has continued building its reputation as one of the more exciting independent rock groups in the country. Rather than slowing down after releasing new music, Radkey has spent the summer taking its songs to audiences across the Midwest.
The band's latest album, Bedroom Sand, released July 14, has been at the center of its recent activity. The record features eight songs, including "Victory," "Falling Out of Grace," "Welcome To The Backyard," and "Ready To Burn." The album captures the band's familiar mix of punk rock, garage rock, and alternative rock, while showing that Radkey is still developing its own sound. The brothers continue to handle much of the band's creative work themselves, keeping the music direct, energetic, and personal.
One of the biggest highlights since June was the release of "Victory," along with an unusual animated music video. The song was designed to have the kind of energy that could open a concert or get a crowd moving immediately. Instead of making a traditional rock video, Radkey teamed up with Blundé Vision for an animated project featuring surreal imagery and the public-domain-era Steamboat Willie character. It was another example of the band's willingness to do things its own way.
Live performances have also played a major role in Radkey's summer. The band has performed throughout Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, and other Midwest locations, appearing at clubs, festivals, and outdoor music events. Shows at venues including The Bottleneck, RIBCO, and Red Flag have kept the group connected with its longtime fans while introducing its music to new audiences. With additional performances scheduled into September and October, Radkey shows no signs of stepping away from the road.
As of September 2026, Radkey's story is one of steady progress rather than major headlines or dramatic changes. The band remains focused on its music, its live performances, and its independent spirit. With Bedroom Sand still fresh and more tour dates ahead, the Radke brothers continue proving that hard work, originality, and a good dose of rock-and-roll attitude can carry a band a long way.
