"The Sheepdogs Keep the Rock and Roll Rolling with Keep Out Of The Storm (Deluxe)"
(Artist Update)
Written by: Ginny Gaines
Canadian rock band The Sheepdogs gave fans something extra to enjoy on October 16, 2026, with the release of Keep Out Of The Storm (Deluxe). The expanded edition builds on the band's original album, released February 27, 2026, by adding two previously unreleased songs, "Coming Home" and "Somewhere I'd Like To Go." With these additions, the deluxe version brings the collection to 13 tracks, giving longtime fans another reason to revisit the record while offering something new to discover.
The original Keep Out Of The Storm marked the band's first full-length studio album since 2022's Outta Sight. Known for bringing together the best parts of classic rock, blues, country, and Southern rock, The Sheepdogs have developed a sound that feels right at home alongside the great rock bands of the 1960s and 1970s. The album continued that tradition with a collection of songs that showed off the band's songwriting, guitar work, and familiar musical personality. Tracks such as "Nobody But You," "Bad For Your Health," "Playing All Night Long," and the title track helped make the original release another important addition to the band's catalog.
What makes the deluxe edition especially interesting is the opportunity to hear two songs that weren't included on the original album. "Coming Home" and "Somewhere I'd Like To Go" give listeners a little more music from the same recording era and offer another look at what the band has been working on creatively. The two songs also received their own limited edition 10-inch vinyl release titled Coming & Going, which arrived October 23, 2026, through the band's independent label, Right On! Records.
The timing of the deluxe release also fits into a busy year for the group. The Sheepdogs continued touring throughout 2026, bringing their music to audiences across North America before preparing for their Out All Night UK and European tour, which began in November. After years of building a loyal following through their recordings and live performances, the band continues to find new ways to keep its music in front of fans around the world.
With Keep Out Of The Storm (Deluxe), The Sheepdogs are giving listeners more of what they have come to appreciate about the Canadian rockers. The expanded album celebrates the original release while adding two new songs that make the collection even more worthwhile. In a time when musical trends seem to change overnight, The Sheepdogs are sticking with what they do best: writing and playing good old fashioned rock and roll. And judging by this latest release, they aren't ready to slow down anytime soon.
