Artist Update

The last album Houndmouth released is titled Good for You. It came out in late 2021, but it still shapes what they’re doing now. They recorded it in a cozy old house in Indiana that belongs to their drummer’s family. The vibe was super relaxed and homegrown. The songs are simple, emotional, and rooted in their Americana-meets-rock style — think heartfelt lyrics, smooth harmonies, and a touch of grit. In February 2025, Houndmouth released their latest single titled "Devil In Disguise." The band's fanbase seems to be enjoying this new release.

There have been some changes in the line up of Houndmouth. The current lineup includes Matt Myers (guitar/vocals), Caleb Hickman (keyboards/vocals), and Zac Anderson (bass/vocals). Some of the original members like Zak Appleby, Katie Toupin, and Shane Cody have left the group over the years. Zak stepped away to focus on family, Katie left on good terms after an earlier album, and Shane left recently after personal conflicts within the band.

Matt Myers (the singer/guitarist) says he’s been writing more from the heart lately and recording the way they used to in the early days. He’s been listening to artists like Waxahatchee and MJ Lenderman, plus old favorites like The Band. The band is sticking to their roots of warm, retro-sounding rock with a modern touch.

They’re on the road a lot right now, playing shows all over the U.S. and Canada from summer through fall 2025. See below for tour dates.

- Jul 14: Red Butte Garden Amphitheatre – Salt Lake City, UT (co-headlining with Shane Smith & The Saints)
- Jul 19: Under the Big Sky Festival – Whitefish, MT
- Aug 12: Jenks – Point Pleasant Beach, NJ
- Aug 16: Greenfield Lake Amphitheater – Wilmington, NC

Fall 2025 Highlights
- Sep 5: State Theatre – Portland, ME
- Sep 19: Ryman Auditorium – Nashville, TN (with special guests Wilderado)
- Oct 3: The Ramkat – Winston-Salem, NC
- Nov 4: Danforth Music Hall – Toronto, ON
- Nov 9: Webster Hall – New York City, NY
- Nov 12: The National – Richmond, VA

They’re hitting a mix of intimate venues and major festivals, keeping that rootsy, close-knit vibe alive while reaching fans across North America.
