The Nude Party, a rock band known for mixing old-school garage rock with a bit of country and folk, put out a brand-new single on September 12, 2025 called “Sweetheart of the Radio.” It’s the latest taste of their next album, Look Who’s Back, which is due out on February 13, 2026. The track features guest singers Pearl Charles and Lady Apple Tree. You can already find it on all the major streaming services, and the band has promoted it heavily on their website and social media.

The band describes “Sweetheart of the Radio” as a road ballad, a song that feels like it belongs on a long drive. Guitarist Shaun Couture explained that it tells the story of a lonely truck driver who spends so much time on the road that he falls in love with a country singer’s voice on the radio. It’s not just a love story, it’s about isolation, daydreaming, and how music can be a companion when you’re alone. The chorus, according to fans and early blogs, is almost like a mantra or prayer, holding onto that radio voice as if it’s keeping the driver company.

While reviews are just starting to come in, the song fits well with The Nude Party’s usual style. It's a mix of rock, Americana, and country-tinged instrumentation. Guest singers Pearl Charles and Lady Apple Tree bring in extra harmonies and texture, giving it a more thoughtful, layered feel than some of their earlier, rawer tracks.
