(Artist Update

The secret is out, GREENLEAF, the desert rock band from Borlänge, Sweden is headed to the United States and Canada for the band's first ever North American tour! Stoner rock fans have been waiting for this tour for years and it has the underground buzzing.
If you are unfamiliar with GREENLEAF, these guys have been killing it for over 25 years. The band got started as a loose, informal side project among friends already playing in other Swedish heavy rock outfits — including Tommy Holappa, guitarist of desert rock band Dozer — before quickly evolving into one of heavy rock's mainstay bands. By the time they released the album "Trails and Passes" they had begun touring and made a name for themselves. Performing massive open air festivals and releasing multiple albums. These guys have built a loyal following around the world and are legends in the desert rock scene. The band's current lineup rounds out with Arvid Hällagård on vocals, Sebastian Olsson on drums, and Hans Fröhlich on bass.
Fast forward to 2026, fans have been begging for a GREENLEAF North American tour and they are finally going to get it. The band is kicking it all off in Austin, Texas headlining Ripple Fest Texas September 20th. This event is expected to have 6000+ in attendance with a stacked lineup for the desert rock audience. From there they will be heading to Houston, TX, New Orleans, LA, Atlanta, GA, Asheville, NC, Lexington, KY, Chicago, IL, Milwaukee, WI, Detroit, MI, and Toronto, ON, with a list of dates past that. This is a hectic tour schedule, completely packed with back to back shows night in night out. This will be a 13 show run ending in Brooklyn, NY. The tour comes in support of GREENLEAF's latest album, "The Head & The Habit," released in 2024 via Magnetic Eye Records and available on CD, artbook, and multiple vinyl variants.
When we interviewed frontman Arvid Hällagård on The Green Room, he spoke about the band's love for the USA and future plans to do a North America tour. Guitarist and founder Tommi Holappa echoed that excitement in a recent statement: "it's been a long time but finally the wait is over. We are beyond excited to go on tour in the very country that gave us our childhood heroes: Snake Plissken, John Rambo, Paul Kersey, Major Alan Schaefer, and many more. Come out and join us on our first ever tour in the USA and Canada!" With the heavy energy the band brings to the stage, along with GREENLEAF's diehard fan base, this tour is set to be incredible. With support from High Desert Queen, Howling Giant and many other acts across the stretch.
