Robbery Club is a raw, gritty punk band out of Buffalo, New York. These guy’s spent nearly a decade playing under the name Ghostpool before rebranding, putting in serious years on the Western New York scene the old-fashioned way, by grinding shows and building a real local following.

During their Ghostpool era (roughly 2016–2024), the band released a solid run of material that built their reputation as a loud, emotional punk act. Their 2018 EP There Is a Hole at the Center of Everything featured strong tracks like “Nightmare Eyes,” “Dropout,” and “Humanoid.” In 2019 they also released the split EP NYLA with the band Hand Out, this collaboration continued the bands momentum. 2020 brought two standout singles: the catchy “Tripped Up” and the aggressive “Look at the Mess We Made.”

The transition from Ghostpool to Robbery Club marked a powerful evolution. The band kept their raw driving rhythms and sharp melodic choruses but leaned even harder into that heavy existential edge. The songs are fast, loud, and full of attitude, but they carry real emotional weight behind the noise.

In February 2025,under the new nameRobbery Club, the band released their debut EP Loot on Triple Hammer Records. The record wastes no time, delivering standouts like the biting “Bitter Pills,” the urgent “Rectifier,” and the relentless “Same Old, Same Old.” It’s a tight, no-frills release that perfectly captures their live energy.

Robbery Club has been killing it in Buffalo. Their EP release show at Black Dots was especially rowdy, with the crowd locked in and going hard from start to finish. They’ve been consistently packing rooms and show the potential for national growth.

On stage they bring that classic no-frills punk fire — loud, fast, and full of real stage presence. You can tell they’ve been doing this for years. The connection with the crowd is genuine and the energy never drops. They are growing on streaming platforms and seem to be moving the right direction.

Right now they’re focused on supporting Loot and building momentum across the Northeast. With their long Ghostpool history in the scene and the strength of the new EP, Robbery Club is well positioned to take things to the next level in 2026.
