Devon Allman, the acclaimed guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and son of legendary Allman Brothers Band frontman Gregg Allman, continues to forge his own path in the world of blues-rock while honoring his family's storied musical heritage.

Born on August 10, 1972, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Allman has built a prolific career spanning over two decades. He founded Honeytribe in 1999, releasing albums like Torch in 2006 and Space Age Blues in 2010. He also co-founded the supergroup Royal Southern Brotherhood back in 2011. His solo work kicked off in 2013, leading to projects like the Devon Allman Project and collaborations including the Allman Betts Band in 2024, Allman released Miami Moon, a vibrant album blending funk, soul, and roots rock influences, recorded at Miami's historic Criteria Studios. Not long after, in July 2025 by Blues Summit, a collaborative effort featuring guests such as Jimmy Hall, Larry McCray, Sierra Green, Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, and Robert Randolph. The album, released via Ruf Records, underscores Allman's deep roots in blues and his commitment to top level performances.

Most recently, Allman has unveiled a bold new direction with “Nightvision”, an ambient art-rock project. His latest single was released December 12, 2025, "Awaken," the second track from the forthcoming self-titled debut album set for January 2, 2026. Recorded during the COVID pandemic in his home studio, the album features longtime collaborators John Lum on drums and Justin Corgan on bass, alongside the recording debut of Allman's son, Orion Allman, on synthesizer. Described as a sci-fi-inspired instrumental experience, drawing inspiration from influences like Pink Floyd, The Cure, and Middle Eastern textures, nightvision showcases Allman's relentless evolution as an artist.

Allman remains a road warrior, co-leading the annual Allman Betts Family Revival tour, which in December 2025 brought Allman Brothers classics and extended family collaborations to venues across the U.S., including recent stops in Huntington, NY, and Atlanta, Georgia. Devon pushes boundaries with nightvision and beyond, proving he is far more than a legacy act. His ambition and focus bleed into his music, a dynamic force keeping blues-rock alive and innovative.
