Over the past year, Black Pistol Fire has cranked the volume back up and reignited their gritty, explosive sound. In June 2025, they released a new single called “Rock Bottom.” It's loud, intense, and full of the dirty blues-rock attitude fans love from them. That single lit the fuse for a brand-new tour called the “Greetings from Rock Bottom Tour,” which has been tearing through North America and Europe like a musical wildfire.

What has the duo been up to lately? Well, they started their tour off strong in Austin, Texas, basically their stomping ground, with a sweaty, packed outdoor show full of crowd favorites like “Look Alive” and “Hipster Shakes.” They hit the road hard across the U.S. West Coast in spring, with packed club shows in San Francisco and Sacramento that had fans raving. Then, BPF brought the fire to Europe, especially in Spain, where they blew the roof off venues like Sala Pantalán in A Coruña and El Sol in Madrid.

During their shows, they mixed old songs, new ones like “Rock Bottom,” and even threw in some surprising cover tunes—like Nirvana’s “Heart-Shaped Box” and a bluesy spin on Childish Gambino’s “Redbone.” It shows they’re not afraid to shake things up and pay tribute to the artists who’ve inspired them. Fans have been loving it. Reviews say the band feels recharged and better than ever, with Kevin McKeown’s guitar howling like a storm and Eric Owen smashing the drums with total precision.

There’s no official word on a full album yet, but between the new single, the epic tour name, and hints on social media, it’s looking like something big might be coming later this year.
