The Welsh rock band HIMALAYAS released their second full length album on April 25th! We’ve been talking about this band for a while, as they’ve been on fire with their live performances and garage rock, indie rock sound.
Their new album, Bad Star, still carries the band’s roots while expanding into a more theatrical side. Songs like “Heavy Weather” show a softer side of the band, while still being a very gritty track. You can truly hear the growth with the band and the production level.
HIMALAYAS new song “What If…?” is one of the harder-rockin songs of this album, with great meaning and a catchy chorus—a testament to the band’s structure and growth. Overall, this album is a great addition to HIMALAYAS catalog, expanding on the excellent work they’ve already put out. This is one band you want to get out and see live. If your impressed with the record, the bands live performances bring another level of energy to the music that is wowing.
