Jesse Roper has had a busy year, playing live shows and joining big music festivals. He’s been touring across the U.S. and Canada, bringing his unique blues-rock style to the stage. - He was on the Keeping the Blues Alive at Sea 2025 cruise in March, playing alongside big names like Joe Bonamassa and Samantha Fish. - In May, he performed at CaveJam 2025, a festival in Tennessee with The String Cheese Incident and The Infamous Stringdusters. Salmon Arm Roots & Blues Festival in July had Roper playing alongside Los Lobos and other blues artists.

Jesse released a bunch of new music. Some of his songs had an upbeat, fun feel, while others were more emotional and soulful. A few of the standouts include:

“Suntan Woman” – a sunny, catchy song.

“Way Down In The Valley” – inspired by where he grew up.

“Georgia Train” – slower and more heartfelt.

“True Lovin’ Ain’t Easy” – about love being tricky sometimes.

“Roll This Stone” and “Turn It Up” – energetic and bluesy tracks to close out the year.

He’s been dropping songs steadily, and fans think he’s getting ready to release a new album soon.

He played across the southern and eastern U.S., including Georgia, Tennessee, New York, and the Carolinas. While touring, he asked fans to help him choose fun cover songs to play at shows—he got suggestions like Fleetwood Mac and the Beatles. He also played in Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. During one tour in 2023, he drove a camper van 9,000 kilometers across Europe while opening for Dylan LeBlanc. That’s serious road trip energy. Back home in Canada, he had a big show at the Royal Theatre in Victoria. Fans loved it—he played with heart, had tons of energy, and showed off his crazy-good guitar skills.

In 2025, Jesse got a new tour van. Instead of selling his old one—a rusty van he used for years—he gave it away to a young band just starting out. That’s a classy move! He also shared some funny stories from life on the road, like the time he got a ticket in Red Deer for an open beer in public, or when he ran into music legend Burton Cummings in a hotel elevator.
