Ryan Scott is a singer and musician from Nashville who does everything himself—he writes, plays all the instruments, records, and produces his own songs. His music sounds like a mix of rock, soul, blues, jazz, and a bit of a vintage, old-school vibe. Think of something you'd hear from the '70s but made today. Ryan released two songs in 2024, “Push Up The Faders". This song has a smooth sound. It’s got more energy and mixes soul, rock, and R&B. Both songs were completely made by him, from the writing to recording. He did it all in his home studio. These new songs came after his 2023 album Analog Vacation, which got some good attention for its cool retro sound and creative style.

Ryan isn’t doing a big tour, but he played a live show on May 17, 2025, at The Underdog, a small venue in Nashville. For now, that’s the only show scheduled, but he might pop up at more local spots. Ryan likes to keep it old-school. He uses real instruments and records everything in a small studio in his house, using vintage equipment. No fancy high-tech stuff, just real, raw music with heart. His songs mix together soul, rock, and jazz, but he adds his own twist, so it doesn’t sound like anything else out there right now.

Ryan plays smaller, laid-back venues like Wilburn Street Tavern and Rockwood Music Hall. He’s also active on TikTok, where he posts clips of acoustic covers and live jam sessions. He is casual, easygoing, and very much himself. Think of it as a mix of classic soul, funky basslines, a little jazz, and some Americana thrown in. If you like artists like Neal Francis or Circles Around the Sun, Ryan’s sound is in that universe, vintage but fresh.

Ryan Scott might not be a big star yet, but he’s quietly making really great, handmade music that feels genuine. If you like cool, soulful sounds with a throwback feel, he’s someone to check out.
