"Ozzy Osbourne’s Final Show: The Throne, The Madness, The End"
(Artist Update)
Written by: Curtis Cooney
Ozzy Osbourne’s body has been through more trauma than a discount horror movie. Between Parkinson’s disease, spinal surgeries, and enough nerve damage to make a neurologist cry, it’s a miracle the guy can still form a sentence — let alone sing. But somehow, he did both on July 5, 2025, at Villa Park in Birmingham, where he gave fans one final, spine-tingling performance from a gothic throne like the unkillable demon king of heavy metal.
The show kicked off with Ozzy’s five-song solo set, starting with I Don’t Know and moving through Suicide Solution, Mama, I’m Coming Home, and Crazy Train. But the real séance began with “Mr. Crowley,” as Ozzy croaked through that ghostly organ intro like he was channeling Aleister himself. He didn’t move from the chair, but his eyes lit up like he was still fronting Sabbath in ’74. The stage was bathed in hellfire lighting, smoke machines nearly killed the first ten rows, and the crowd — tens of thousands strong — lost their minds like it was Judgment Day.

Then came the true resurrection: Black Sabbath reunited, with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Tommy Clufetos behind the kit. Together, they powered through War Pigs, Iron Man, and a thunderous Paranoid that felt more like an exorcism than a farewell. Ozzy didn’t need to stand — his voice and sheer presence carried the weight. Fans were crying, headbanging, lighting joints, and possibly summoning ancient spirits — hard to tell through all the fog and denim.
If this really is the end (and let’s be real, the Grim Reaper’s probably on Ozzy’s payroll at this point), then what a way to go. A final performance in his hometown, seated like a warlock emperor, backed by the band that started it all. No frills, no autotune — just riffs, fire, and the last unholy sermon of the Prince of Darkness.
