"Rockin' out of southern California is Together Pangea"
Today we bring you... William Keegan, Danny Bengston, and Erik Jimenez formed Together Pangea after meeting at California Institute of the Arts in 2009 in Santa Clarita. From the campus and throughout Southern California, the band found themselves busy performing and bringing some noise!
In July 2010, the trio brought us a self-released debut album titled Jelly Jam. Songs from this album include "Engines," "Straight Dumb," "You Sleep Too Much," and of course, "Jelly Jam." The band continued to work hard to build a fan base. They continued doing shows at many venues around Southern California.
Together Pangea went to work on their second album, Living Dummy. With a lot of hard work and the aid of Burger Records Label, the trio released this album in September 2011. This album has 14 songs on it that include "No Feelin'," "Night Of The Living Dummy," and "Summertime." This album was very well received and brought the band international attention.
With all of this attention, the trio was performing with acts like Wavves and The Black Lips as well as others. The band also found themselves on their first national tour titled the Burgerama Caravan of Stars. One can only imagine how excited Together Pangea must have been to perform on the same stage as Gap Dream, Cosmonauts, The Resonars, and Curtis Harding.
Together Pangea did not keep their fans waiting with the release of their third album, Badillac, released with Harvest Records. This album was released in January 2014. It has twelve tracks on it that include "Alive," "Make Myself True," and "River." This album was also very well received. In 2015, the band went on a European tour and were the supporting acts for The Replacements at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles as part of their Back by Unpopular Demand tour in April 2015. As if 2015 wasn't busy enough, the trio released an EP, The Phage, on October 16, as well in 2015.
They released an EP, Non-Stop Paranoia, in 2018 and then another EP, Dispassionate, which included the single "Bet You Wish I Would Call," in 2019. In 2021, with Netwerk Records, Together Pangea released their next album, DYE. This album has twelve songs on it including, "Marijuana," "One Way or Another," and "Wanted Out." On July 8, 2022, a deluxe version of DYE was released.
What will Together Pangea bring us in 2024? One can only guess, but we are sure it will be epic!
