Oakland, California’s beloved Bay Area band The California Honeydrops, known for their infectious blend of soul, blues, R&B, and New Orleans funk, are hitting the road again with their highly anticipated Redwood Highway Tour 2025. Following a string of sold-out shows and festival appearances, the band is poised to bring their bluesy jazzy performances and feel-good music to fans across the United States this fall.

The Redwood Highway Tour kicks off in October and will see the Honeydrops performing in iconic venues from coast to coast, including a stop at Musikfest Café in Bethlehem, PA, on October 9, The Showbox in Seattle, WA, on November 14, and Ace of Spades in Sacramento, CA, on November 25. Fans can expect a dynamic setlist featuring classics like “Live Learn” and “Honey Don’t,” alongside fresh tracks that showcase the band’s signature groove and heartfelt lyricism.

Formed in 2008, The California Honeydrops, led by frontman Lech Wierzynski vocals, trumpet and guitar. The band has built a loyal following with their joyous live performances and genre defying sound. Drawing from the rich musical traditions of New Orleans, Memphis, and the Bay Area. They even revived the song “Junker’s Blues” originally written by Champion Jack Dupree in the 1940’s and done many more interesting renditions of other great songs. The band’s music is a celebration of life, love, and resilience. Their ability to blend raw, rootsy vibe with polished musicianship has earned them praise from many outlets, as well as a dedicated fanbase that spans generations.

The California Honeydrops have a massive catalog with fifteen albums, going back to 2007 when they released “Soul Tub!” This kinda kicked things off and from there the band has built a legacy. Not to mention the singles and EPs they have released or the four albums they have been featured on. The California Honeydrops have toured the all over the globe and have packed some of the worlds most incredible venues like the legendary Red Rocks amphitheater.
